Prospective ELN members are boutique-style firms with deep expertise in environmental and natural resource law, operating within clearly defined geographic regions. Admission requires demonstrated legal knowledge, industry experience, and a commitment to active engagement within ELN. In keeping with the Network’s bylaws, each state or region is generally represented by a single firm, with limited exceptions for larger states—such as California and New York—which may accommodate two firms due to their extensive regional markets.

Our global membership meets monthly by video, where each session highlights a presentation by one of our member firms on a timely and substantive legal issue. In addition, we host an in-person Annual Meeting each year, recognizing that face-to-face interaction is vital for collaboration and professional growth. Beyond these meetings, we share our thought leadership through written articles and blogs, which are circulated internally and published on ELN’s website.

For inquiries about applying for membership, participating as presenter at a monthly or annual meeting, or collaborating with ELN or any of our members in an educational program or presentation, please contact us.
