ELN is governed by a Board of Directors and officers who oversee the Network’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations. The Board and officers convene twice annually—each spring at the Officers’ Meeting and each fall at the ELN Annual Meeting. In addition, the entire membership meets every month to foster ongoing collaboration and stay current on emerging issues.
Current officers: Kevin S. Hennesy – President; Kimberly L. Bick – Vice President/President-Elect; Trevor Burggraff – Secretary; Dan Cory – Treasurer; and Greg DeGulis – Past President. The Board includes three Directors-At-Large from law firm members.
Future Leaders Division of ELN
ELN proudly supports newer associates and partners who are seen as “Future Leaders” in environmental and natural resource law. Each Member firm designates a lawyer to participate in ELN’s Future Leaders Division or “FLD.” FLD meets every two months to network and engage in discussions on environmental and natural resources laws, as well as challenges encountered in FLD lawyers’ practices.
FLD also participates in monthly ELN calls and at the Annual Meeting. We encourage FLD members to present case studies and/or regulatory developments to the larger ELN group and publish articles on ELN’s website. Some of our original FLD members are now partners at their firms, bringing in business from the network of referrals they developed through ELN.
