Daniel Riesel started practicing environmental law and litigation in 1970 as a founder of the environmental protection unit in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York – the first of its kind. He has been a member of Sive, Paget & Riesel since 1973. Dan’s practice involves the resolution of complex environmental problems and the ability to litigate them when they remain unresolved.
